STM Announces Leadership Gifts for Arts. For All Seasons. Campaign
January 27, 2025: St. Thomas More High School (STM) is excited to share an update about the school’s Arts. For All Seasons. fundraising campaign. Donations from our campaign committee, including an inspiring lead gift from alumni Nancy (SMA ’72) and Glen Guszkowski (DB ’72), now account for nearly half of St. Thomas More’s $1 million campaign goal.
The Arts. For All Seasons. campaign will support critical updates for St. Thomas More’s fine arts program, including transforming the school’s auditorium into the Guszkowski Fine Arts Center.
“Arts. For All Seasons. marks the beginning of an exciting new era for St. Thomas More,” said STM President John Hoch (TM ’87), who, along with his wife, Lori, has made a generous four-year commitment to the campaign. “We are incredibly grateful for the Guszkowskis’ support and the support of our entire campaign committee as we look to provide our students with the resources to explore, create, and succeed for generations to come.”
The Guszkowskis first became involved at STM philanthropically in 2009 when they established the Guszkowski Scholarship Fund. “Our support for STM has been our way of remembering the family members we have lost, creating a lasting legacy in their honor,” Glen Guszkowski said.
“The arts give students a unique opportunity to find their voice and share their talents,” Guszkowski continued. “It has been a privilege to serve on the Arts. For All Seasons. campaign committee, and I believe this new auditorium will be a catalyst for even more creativity and expression in the STM community.”
Auditorium renovations are just one of the initiatives supported by the Arts. For All Seasons. campaign. Funding will also allow St. Thomas More to expand and modernize its fine arts curriculum, adding classes in dance, digital arts, photography, and music, and establish a new facility position dedicated to the strategic growth of arts education at the school.
