Through this campaign, we’re taking strides toward an exciting future with ambitious plans to modernize our facilities, expand our curriculum, and build a sustainable foundation for fine arts at STM.
A New Auditorium
Our auditorium has long served as a gathering place for performances, assemblies, and special events, but with time, it has grown outdated. Through the Arts. For All Seasons campaign, we are excited to share the vision for a beautifully renovated auditorium that will embody the spirit of creativity and excellence. The renderings provide a glimpse into the transformation—modernized seating, upgraded acoustics, advanced lighting, and enhanced design elements to elevate every experience. This updated space will support theater productions and concerts and be a versatile venue for community engagement and special events.
Expanding Fine Arts Curriculum
We are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to explore the arts, regardless of their background or experience. To make this vision a reality, we will expand our fine arts programming to offer a broader range of courses that foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. This includes new visual arts, music, theater, and digital media classes, providing students with various ways to engage with the arts. By integrating more fine arts courses into our curriculum, we’re helping students develop valuable skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Creating a Lasting Legacy: A Dedicated Fine Arts Advisor
To ensure the continued growth and support of our fine arts program, we are excited to introduce the role of a dedicated Fine Arts Advisor. This position will oversee the development of fine arts programming, advocate for resources, and guide the future of arts education at STM. The Fine Arts Advisor will be instrumental in connecting students, faculty, and the community, ensuring fine arts remain integral to the STM experience for generations to come.
