STM Visual Arts Teacher Named 2024 WAEA Private Schools Art Education or the Year

Brzezinski has an extensive background in the arts community, starting with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UW-Milwaukee. She continued her education and received a Master of Visual Studies from Cardinal Stritch and credit for over 33 continuing education studio courses from MIAD.

 

Well-respected in the arts education community, Brzezinski has received multiple awards during her career at St. Thomas More. She was named the WAEA Art Educator of the Year in 2017, NAEA Wisconsin Art Education of the Year in 2018, and was a Kohl Fellowship recipient in 2014. She has presented three times at the National Art Education Association (NAEA) conference and is a regular speaker at the Wisconsin Art Education Association’s annual event.

 

Fine Arts programs prepare students for the careers of tomorrow. By incorporating fine arts into their high school education, students can develop collaboration, imagination, and communication skills that will assist them in whichever path they take.
