Twenty-two years ago today, on December 23, 1998, Jennie’s life was tragically cut short, when she was killed in an automobile accident caused by a drunk driver. She was just months from her high school graduation.

The Jennifer Ramus Endowed Scholarship Fund at St. Thomas More High School Jennie's spirit lives on at St. Thomas More through the Jennifer Ramus Endowed Scholarship Fund and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The Jennie Fund provides scholarships to students who actively participate in SADD, which promotes positive decision-making and combats underage drinking, drug use, distracted driving, bullying, and depression in our community. Since the scholarship’s creation, the Jennie Fund has awarded scholarships to over 350 students!
