Art Show Detail

Elizabeth Munoz

Ever since I was little, I have always drawn from my imagination and tried to build other worlds to bring me comfort. Using my ideas in art to create life is the main purpose of art itself so, I take advantage of that. When I was little, I created a story called “The School” and it consisted of detailed characters, different settings, plot, and much more designs. All my friends were hooked into it and even wanted to buy the comics from me. This developed my fondness for making worlds with new ideas and with new people with stories. I made this comic because I longed for a new reality, something I can escape to and live in. Also, I use daydreaming to build a story in my mind which include characters, landscapes, buildings, and much more. This has sparked my interest in designing things, especially buildings so that I may show others my intentions and ideas.

When I entered this AP Studio class, I was very set on being perfect with my art
which caused me to be stiff. I practiced with my art style and found I liked using pen so, I began to use it for my ongoing works. There were many activities to loosen my style and that allow me to express myself through my art. Continuing on, I will create my worlds for all to see.
