One of the most important factors in making a high school decision is the shadow visit. At St. Thomas More, we recommend that prospective students spend a day shadowing one of our current students. Students attend classes with their host and receive a free lunch as well as a personal tour of our building. This program offers prospective students the opportunity to experience a day in the life of an STM student and to ask any questions that they might have. We make every effort to pair visitors up with a current student they know, someone they know from grade school, or someone who shares their interests. Shadow visits run from 7:35am until 2:30pm on most Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning September 15th.
“We loved the school when we toured. However, once my son did a shadow day, we were SOLD! This is a wonderful, welcoming community with amazing teachers and staff. They take the time to get to know the students and do all possible to help them succeed. I am confident that after graduation our son will be well prepared for a successful happy life!”

“When I took the opportunity to shadow STM, I realized that it was the high school of my dreams. I have talked about the high school since then and have been recommending my friends to the school. So now they are going to shadow, and I hope they have the same experience as I did. It was wonderful, amazing, and I felt very welcomed into the STM community. Now I know I’m ready to join the STM community as well, along with my friends that decide to join with me!”
