If you would prefer to process your donation over the phone, please call Kevin Russell at 414-481-8370 ext. 131.

Donating stocks is a great way to support STM without dipping interrupting your budget. Gifts of stock can also avoid capital gains tax. For more information about how to transfer your securities to STM for charitable purposes, please contact Abby Falk. Please remember that in order to receive the most optimal tax benefits, you must transfer the stock to STM before selling it.

If you have any questions about donating stock to STM, please contact Abby Falk at 414-481-8370, ext. 103.

STM will also accept donations of goods and services that could be used to enhance the educational experience for our students. These gifts can be tangible goods, such as musical instruments, or services, such as painting or landscaping work. You may receive an income tax deduction based on the value of the donated good/service.

By designating STM as the beneficiary of our life insurance policy or retirement account, you can avoid some taxable income requirements.

Listing STM as a beneficiary in your will helps you leave a permanent legacy for our students. Other estate planning instruments, such as a charitable remainder trust, can also be utilized to support STM while helping you avoid income and estate taxes. To discuss how you can maximize your legacy at STM, please contact your estate/financial planner.

Congratulations to the Cavalier Powerlifting Team! On Saturday, seven Cavaliers competed in a powerlifting meet at Cudahy High School. Five of the seven athletes medaled, and two of those students are going to state!

“Coach Litscher and I are proud of these student athletes for the hard work and dedication to training," said powerlifting coach and STM science teacher Mike Fricke. "Strength training has a unique way of instilling confidence and growth in young men and women, and in the end that is the most important outcome anyone would want of our students at St. Thomas More High School.”

Stay tuned for more updates on our powerlifting team as some of them compete in Germantown in February and then at the state meet in Appleton on March 2 and 3.
