Native Circle
 /  Native Circle

With an increasing number of Native American students, St. Thomas More High School started a Native American student group – Native Circle.  All STM students are welcome to join Native Circle, which celebrates the culture of the First Nations of the Americas.  The group strives to be a positive representative of St. Thomas More in the Indian Community and, in the process, keep the students culturally connected and charitable.  The group boasts about 25 members who want to make a positive impact on the community and enjoy cultural events.

Since its inception, Native Circle has carried out multiple fry bread sales at school, regularly attends both Full Moon and Pow Wow ceremonies at the Indian Community School in Franklin, and have volunteered at feasts at the Congregation of the Great Spirit Catholic Church in Milwaukee. To move forward on this path, the group continues to look for cultural events, activities, and volunteer opportunities.
