National Honor Society

NHS is a national organization that recognizes the academic success of students, as well as their leadership, character, and service.  Students are elected to National Honor Society by a majority vote of the faculty based on grade point average, faculty evaluation, and the student’s contribution of service to the school and the community at large.

Members of the St. Thomas More chapter of NHS have provided peer tutoring, provided tutoring at a local elementary school, filled Christmas boxes for families in need, participated in AIDS Walk Wisconsin and weeded wild garlic mustard in Grant Park.  Each year the student members decide what projects and activities the chapter does during the school year.
