We embrace the mission of the International Thespian Society: Shaping lives through theater education

The International Thespian Society (established in 1929) is an honor society for students who are dedicated to the school theater program. Although theater grades and overall grades are important, being the “most talented” is not the primary concern.  The International Thespian Society recognizes students who exemplify the desire to succeed and are dedicated to the school’s theater program.

Students who are a member of the cast and/or crew of any STM Theater production and maintain good grades can join the International Thespian Society.  To be inducted as a full member a student must engage in at least two different facets of the theater (don’t worry you do not need to act – if you do not want to) and maintain honor level grades.

Our Troupe is a service organization which seeks to satisfy the needs of the STM self-funded theater program and to support the greater community with service to other non-profit organizations.

Yesterday, seven STM students, President Mary McIntosh and Principal Nic Kelly spent the afternoon helping the Rotary Club of Mitchell Field put up the American Flags for their annual Flags for Heroes event.

Flags for Heroes is a highly visible way to recognize a hero with dignity and honor and a way to help others in need. We are so proud of our Cavaliers for stepping up!
