STM Alumnus and State Champion Jessie Ramirez Named Girls Soccer Coach

The St. Thomas More High School Athletic Department is proud to announce that Jessie Ramirez (TM ’07) has been named as the new head coach of its girls’ soccer program, replacing Stevan Polewski.

A three-year varsity player while a student, Jessie was the captain of St. Thomas More’s 2006 State Championship boys’ soccer team. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, receiving his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is currently working toward his Master of Science in Structural/Geotechnical Engineering.

“Jessie brings a combination of leadership, experience, and enthusiasm that will help our student-athletes mature both as players and as young adults,” athletic director John Hoch (TM ’87) said. “We are excited to see how the soccer program continues to grow under Jessie’s leadership.”

Jessie has served as an assistant coach in St. Thomas More girls’ soccer program since 2015. In addition, he served as an assistant in the boys’ soccer program for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Jessie and his wife, Brittany (TM ’07), currently reside in the City of Milwaukee.

Early in the school year, St. Thomas More will hold an event to introduce Coach Ramirez to our girls’ soccer players and the rest of the school community. The date and time will be announced shortly. In the meantime, if you would like to get in contact with him, his email address is [email protected]

Please join us in welcoming Jessie back to St. Thomas More High School!
