PLTW Showcase 2021

Welcome to the Project Lead the Way Engineering Design and Development (EDD) Spring Showcase!

EDD is a capstone Project Lead the Way course for fourth-year engineering students. Students chose their own problem, solutions, and project directions throughout the course of the year, applying the design process. Students use their knowledge and skills from other courses and their hobbies to create meaningful solutions to real world challenges.

After viewing the presentations, please fill out this feedback survey. Feedback is helpful to our students as they fill out scholarship work!

  1. tHESE ARE GREAT PRACTICAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES–ESPECIALLY AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL.
ACQUIRING THE DISCIPLINE TO THINK THROUGH A PROBLEM, FORMULATE A CONCEPT FOR ITS SOLUTION AND THEN BUILD AND TEST THAT SOLUTION TAKES A LEARNER THROUGH THE ENTIRE CYCLE OF THEORY-TO-PRACTICE.
tHIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE ENHANCES A STUDENT’S ABILITY TO GRASP MORE SOPHISTICATED CONCEPTS AND BUILDS LEARNING CONFIDENCE FOR OTHER LEARNING CHALLENGES.
i WONDER WHETHER THESE EXERCISES LED TO ANY ENTREPRENEURIAL START-UPS. i WOULD HOPE THEY DID.
