Dear St. Thomas More Students and Parents,
I want to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year. I first want to thank you for choosing St. Thomas More for your high school experience. The student body and family support are the heart of any school. Thank you for doing your part to make St. Thomas More a special place to learn and grow. I also want to share a little bit about myself.
I am excited to be back for my third stint with St. Thomas More. I graduated in 1979. I enjoyed my experiences here and was more than prepared for college both academically and as a person. After TM I attended college at UW-Eau Claire majoring in English and Physical Education. I worked as a teacher and coach in Milwaukee Public Schools for seven years. While teaching I earned my master’s in Administrative Leadership from UW Milwaukee. For the next 29 years I served as an administrator in a number of locations including six years at St. Thomas More. St. Thomas More was by far my most fulfilling and enjoyable assignment. This school has a special charism that keeps it flourishing. I am honored to serve once again.
Personally, I have been married to my wife Mary Kay for 34 years. We still live in the same house we bought when initially married located in the Jackson Park area. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. I enjoy crossword puzzles, exercise, and reading in my spare time.
Welcome once again! I look forward to meeting you this year.
