10 DecAP Studio Artist – Hannah Schulze
Hello, I’m Hannah Schulze and currently a senior here at St. Thomas More High School. I am heavily involved in the fine arts department. Throughout my past and this year of course, I have been doing art from drawing, sculpting, photography, and even dabbling in metal work. But drawing is my main focus, the concrete idea with a special intent following behind it. I’ve worked closely with Ms. B and I’ve learned so much from this class already. My goal with this class is not just to make art, but art with a significant purpose and intent.
Just this year, I have gotten to work with media such as watercolor, pencils, pens, ink, oil pastels, pastels, and even some acrylic paint. By working with these materials, I was able to give my art life and make my art imagination pop. Every art piece has some type of message behind it but initially, it is also up to the viewers discretion. Moving on with that idea, first semester was just the building block for semester 2. My goal is to bring awareness to a mental disorder called Anxiety. Through my work, I hope to show my viewers a story by pin pointing specific aspects of the disorder to bring it to life.
