St. Thomas More prepares students for college and career. With the help of our outstanding school counselors, STM students leave high school with the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

Here are a few of the many accomplishments of recent STM graduating classes:

Marisa Garcia (STM ’17)

  • Marisa Garcia (STM ’17) received the prestigious QuestBridge Scholarship and is attending Northwestern University.
  • Fatima Sepulveda (STM ’17) is attending Wesleyan University on a scholarship.
  • Mary Vo (STM ’17) received the full Chancellor’s Scholarship at UW-Madison.
  • Class salutatorian Aimee Gerschke (STM ’16) received a full academic and athletic scholarship to play Division 1 golf for Drake University.
  • Orlando Guzman (STM ’16) received the Fast Track full academic scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • McKenzie Halwas (STM ’16) is attending St. John’s University in New York City on a full academic scholarship.
  • Jenna Knueppel (STM ’16) received the prestigious QuestBridge Scholarship and is attending Brown University on a four-year full academic scholarship with a study abroad option.
  • Pablo Ovalle-Castorena (STM ’16) received the Urban Scholars full academic scholarship to Marquette University.
  • Briana Rose (STM ’16) received the Powers-Knapp full scholarship to attend University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Stanley Wang (STM ’16) received a scholarship to play Division 1 golf for Bradley University.

Last night, members of National Honor Society visited Clement Manor for the resident’s “Spring Fling Sock Hop”. Students danced the night away to some lively polka, waltzes, and even a chicken dance or two! Yesterday, seven STM students, President Mary McIntosh and Principal Nic Kelly spent the afternoon helping the Rotary Club of Mitchell Field put up the American Flags for their annual Flags for Heroes event.
