STM Welcomes all International students to be a part of our community. Our culturally diverse school creates an atmosphere where our students learn from each other and grow daily in their global understanding of the world today. It is important in today’s world that we create a school culture that not only nourishes student growth but allows us to learn beside each other and grow in our perspective and to be able to share our culture with others while learning about theirs.
What you will find at STM, is a faculty and staff that are well versed in differentiating our curriculum to enable all students to be successful in all aspects of their academic and social growth. STM is proud of our rigorous academic offerings, being a S.T.E.M. School aligned with PLTW (Project Lead the Way), we also offer AP and Concurrent Enrollment courses where students may earn Credit for college in the future.
STM also has many clubs and competitive sports for students to participate in. We strive to develop the whole person (Mind, Body, and Spirit) who will be competent and successful leaders in their communities in their future.
By partnering with local high schools, Wisconsin International Academy students are exposed to quality academics, extra curricular activities, and bridging cultures through learning together with American students.
Total-Care™ dormitory and home stay services include local parenting, meals, lodging, transportation, leadership development, college application preparation and community service. WIA provides English language teachers and tutors for students in each of the partner schools.
Schools in the partnership also provide liaisons who work closely with all WIA students enrolled in their schools to provide the best possible experience. The liaisons work closely with students and WIA personnel to help students be successful academically and personally.
WIA, headquartered in Wauwatosa, WI, has seven partner high schools in the Milwaukee metro area that together enrolled over 150 WIA students during the 2017-2018 school year.
