The Technology Education department aims to educate students in computer/ information specialties, which is one of the fastest growing career fields. Students interested in the technology field will gain valuable skills to take into college and career opportunities.

Students will:

  • Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to create apps for mobile devices, automate tasks in a variety of languages, and find patterns in data
  • Learn principles of cybersecurity and cyber hygiene
  • Discover relationships among web languages
  • Engage in STEM principles and robotics concepts as they design and build a mobile robot
  • Develop and understanding of fundamental web design
