Principal’s Perspective: The Beauty of Fall

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. The trees are bursting with color and we all reap the benefits of the hardwork that goes into creating a bountiful harvest.

It is truly one of Gods miracles to witness this process unfold, knowing that this beauty and bounty all started with a seed being planted. With a lot of nurturing and care these seeds blossomed into the many gifts we all are able to enjoy this time of year.

As children of God, each day we live we are planting seeds all around us. We are planting seeds in our family, friends, and our community. What we say to on another, how we treat one another, and how we love one another will all one day come back to us. What will our harvest look like? What will our future scenery look like? That rests with us and how we have sown our seeds. If we continuously plant seeds of negativity and anger, that is what we will reap. If we plant seeds of positivity and hope, we will reap that reward. If you sow and plant the wrong seeds it will take many seasons to plant a new crop and to change what you have done.

Our time here is precious. We never know how many chances we will have to make a difference in others lives. Cherish each day and cherish every opportunity you have to make an impact on the world around you. Sow the seeds God has blessed you with. Be the positive impact we need in this world. Cultivate the harvest God intended. God Bless! I wish you all the best as we enjoy this beautiful time of year.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap”
Galatians 6:7

On Tuesday, our school community celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe with a beautiful Mass planned and ministered by STM’s Latino Student Organization and World Languages department chair Mrs. Ann Marie Dorn. Padre Norberto Sandoval celebrated Mass with Father Christopher Klusman (TM ’95). After Communion, students in LSO performed a beautiful baile folklorico and baile Azteca. We are proud of all students for their months of hard work learning the dances, and extend special thanks to Mrs. Dorn for once again planning a wonderful Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass. ...
